This is my vintage Super Eight Landmax 2 that I used to race back in the late 90's. This is the predecessor to the Inferno GT1. Has the same wheelbase as the Inferno GT1 as it uses an early Inferno chassis, but has shorter arms and is narrower that the Inferno GT1. Everything on the car is period correct except I have added the engine mounts that the GT1 uses so a modern engine can be fitted. The Landmax 2 came stock with a single speed center diff, but provisions are in place for an optional 2-speed, and the Inferno GT 2-speed drops right in. The wheels and tires are also smaller than current type GT wheels and tires, and the ones that are included are just like new, I don't think they have ever been run on the car. Also included is a new in bag Mitsubishi Lancer EVO V or VI body, cant remember which model it is, but it is the one with the big round fog lights on the front. Also includes some extra parts as pictured, and not pictured but included is the original manual.
Would make a great vintage GT display or a good car for racing in a vintage class. |
